Player Conduct Agreement
The Greatest Gameshow: Season 3
This Player Conduct Agreement outlines the expected standards of behaviour for all participants of The Greatest Gameshow: Season 3. By participating in the event, all Players agree to the terms set out below.
Definitions
- Player: Any person participating in the event who is not the Host.
- Host: The person responsible for organising and managing the Games. The Host may also be referred to as "The Gamemaker", but shall not be referred to as such within this document.
- Games: The games, challenges, and activities conducted as part of The Greatest Gameshow: Season 3.
General Conduct and Expectations
The Greatest Gameshow is intended to be a competitive, social, and enjoyable event. Players are expected to:
- Participate in good faith and in accordance with the spirit of each Game
- Treat other Players with respect and consideration
- Follow instructions given by the Host
- Act in a manner that supports safety, fairness, and enjoyment for all participants
Light-hearted banter, humour, and friendly competition are permitted and form part of the intended experience. However, all behaviour must remain respectful and must not interfere with the experience of others.
Respect and Behaviour Standards
The following behaviours are not permitted:
- Personal insults intended to harm, degrade, or intimidate another Player
- Repeated targeting, teasing, or harassment that causes discomfort or disruption
- Malicious, abusive, or discriminatory language directed at any individual or group
The Host will determine, at their discretion, whether behaviour falls outside acceptable standards based on context and impact.
Fair Play
Players are expected to compete honestly and fairly in all Games.
- Accidental breaches of rules will be addressed and corrected where possible
- Intentional unfair behaviour may result in penalties at the discretion of the Host
- Repeated or serious breaches of fair play expectations may result in removal from a Game or from the event
The Host retains final authority in determining what constitutes fair play and rule compliance.
Safety, Physical Behaviour, and Property
Players are expected to act responsibly in all physical interactions, movement, and engagement with the environment.
- Physical interaction between Players must remain safe and appropriate to the context of the event
- Players must not enter restricted or clearly marked off-limits areas
- Any props, equipment, or materials provided must be treated with care and respect
Any concerns relating to unsafe behaviour or damage to property will be assessed in context, taking into account intent, severity, and circumstances. Where necessary, the Host will determine appropriate next steps in consultation with venue staff.
Substances
- Alcohol will not be provided at the event
- Players are not permitted to bring or consume alcohol during the event
- Players must not participate while under the influence of alcohol or other impairing substances
Recording and Media
Players may take photographs and record video for personal use and may share content on personal social media accounts.
The following are not permitted without prior permission from the Host and any identifiable individuals involved:
- Livestreaming the event
- Use of recordings or images for commercial purposes or significant monetary gain
Authority and Discretion
The Host retains full authority over the interpretation, enforcement, and application of this Agreement and the rules of the Games.
Venue staff also retain independent authority to make decisions regarding safety, conduct, and access to the venue.
This Agreement is intended to guide expectations and support consistent behaviour standards; however, it may be interpreted flexibly in context where necessary to ensure fairness, safety, or the smooth operation of the event. The Host and venue staff may override or adapt the application of these terms where required.
Final decisions made by the Host or venue staff are conclusive.
Acknowledgement
By participating in The Greatest Gameshow: Season 3, Players confirm that they have read and understood this Player Conduct Agreement and agree to participate in accordance with its expectations.
