The Greatest Gameshow

The Greatest Gameshow is an invite-only event that first debuted in 2025 as a birthday party theme. Created and organized by Host and Gamemaker DatNERFDude, it’s a half-day of “friendly competition” where players compete in original games and adaptations inspired by television game shows and traditional game-night favourites.

In late 2024 during a birthday party, the root inspiration for The Greatest Gameshow was born. DatNERFDude’s sister ran a multi-round quiz featuring questions about various subjects/hobbies like music, along with some about her personal life .

A few months later in January 2025, DatNERFDude was trying to figure out a theme for his birthday party. He then recalled the quiz his sister hosted at her party and thought, “I should make my party into a gameshow where all of the guests are the participants!”

Later, he decided to make a name for the gameshow.
“You know what would be cool? The gameshow should have a name. That would make it the greatest gameshow!”
…
“Hmm…”
And that’s how the name “The Greatest Gameshow” was made.
Yep, I'm completely serious. That’s literally how the name came about.

1.5 years, 2 seasons, 9 games, and 12 participants, The Greatest Gameshow is returning for a 3rd Season in December 2026!
