AI Usage Declaration
Updated 24 June, 2026 at 9:33PM
This declaration aims to provide transparency regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the production of The Greatest Gameshow.
The Greatest Gameshow is created, produced, and hosted entirely by a single person – me lol. It takes a lot of work to put something of this complexity together, and even though I put a lot of time into it, I can't physically design the games, handle administration, and build the technical backend of the systems used to run the games.
In order to deliver the absolute best versions of these games without spending about twelve years building them or hiring a team of twelve, I made the decision to get assistance from AI: Sixth to help with coding and ChatGPT for a small portion of the administration.
Despite this, all creative, technical, and editorial decisions remain my own. Any code, designs, concepts, game mechanics, articles, and published content containing AI contributions are reviewed, tested, and approved before being released.
Additionally, all music, icons, and art are created by humans, with no reliance on generative AI.
AI can often be incorrect or poor quality, so where factual accuracy is important, I make reasonable efforts to verify information rather than relying solely on AI-generated responses.
My intention with this declaration is to express my commitment to being open about the tools used during the creative and development process, not to diminish the value of the work done to put together The Greatest Gameshow.
AI should be treated as an assistant—not an author or decision-maker.
AI cannot create works of art, but merely unethical (and often terrible) imitations of real art.
Ngā mihi,

P.S. Did I use AI to write this declaration? No. No, I did not.
